Alfa Air provided a exceptional quoting, installation and handover experience. Of the three quotes I received for a ducted a/c replacement of an existing split system, they were the most competitive and included features that others did not include or even think to ask if I needed. The installation team were friendly, on-time, efficient and left nothing behind even vacuuming the floor in every part of the house where they installed ducts. Handover included a thorough explanation of the zone system and patient answering of my numerous questions.

Alfa were very quick to respond and as we were nearing the Xmas close down period, we were grateful a technician could come out to diagnose the problem with our air conditioning system. The technician was very knowledgeable and diagnosed the issue quickly. The next week another technician came to repair the system and again, knew what he was doing and fixed the system (just in time for the Summer heat!). The cost was very reasonable so we highly recommend this company and their services. We are very happy customers!!

Where to start my sory… Ok. So I was running circles with other aircon suppliers as they didn’t want to put ducted system in our home due to low, 5 degree roof pitch which means like 700mm roof cavity only. Well, some of them did not say no but asked for structural modifications to fit the indoor unit, which would have cost a fortune, both engineering, build and certification. Then finally I found Alfa air and had chats with Jordan. He was absolutely positive, understood my issue and requests. Curtis did a survey before the build, he is so competent and showed the attitude of “we can do it”. And they did.
We were offered a Samsung unit which indoor unit can be splitted into several pieces to be able to put up into the tight attic and there put back together. So no messing with lifting up roof sheeting or plastering.
A transport guy turned up on site in the morning of agreed build date and dumped some ducts, boxes and items to my garage. Curtis and Josh with their team showed the agreed time accurately and brought the rest of items, including the unit, which is a 14kW Samsung one. Agreed on all outlets, return air, outdoor unit locations and they started with the outlets and ducting. Working from home I was here around the whole time and the team seemed professional and efficient working together. Despite the limited roof space and need for crawling, the team completed the whole job by early arvo, much faster than I expected. They cleaned up the mess (used blankets to protect carpet and furniture), vacuumed before leaving and Curtis showed me how to use the tablet on the wall.
I’m very picky if it comes to any work in our home but the whole process with Alfa was flawless, from the first call till say goodbye. The system works as it should, hopefully for a long time.

First off I would like to say that I am a very fastidious person. The best way to summarise Alfa Air is Prompt, professional and willing to go the extra mile to keep a customer happy.
I ordered a Panasonic Ducted system with my air 5 on Don’s recommendation. Don was wonderful to deal with and the time between requesting a quote and having the system installed was less than a week which was unbelievably impressive. The system was installed within 4 hours which was very helpful as we just had a new born and my wife could not be in the house while the system was being installed. The installers made sure to clean up any mess afterwards that they had made and honestly, I cannot fault any part of the install.
While I did have some teething issues after the install Alfa air came out not once but twice to assist with my concerns.

As this is a review on the company itself and not the aircon unit, I have given it 5 stars. If I had chosen, the same system with another installer I am certain that I would have had a worse outcome.

So impressed. From first encounter with Donovan who suggested we didn’t need to replace everything (we were replacing a system that had broken down). Did not oversell us at all which would have been easy to do. When we had more questions he came back out without issue. The guys who came to do the installation were courteous, professional, and did a great job. A couple of hours after they left, I had some concerns … rang up and the installer arrived within an hour to take me through my concerns. A+ to all concerned.

My 14 year old split system at my investment property in Brisbane gave up the ghost just over a week ago, it was a cheap no name brand installed by the builder. I did a search and found Alfa air in Qld. What I liked about their website is they had displayed all their government approved license numbers, so I knew I was dealing with a reputable company. I went with a Mitsubishi Electric 5Kw reverse cycle split system. The price was very competitive and included removal of the old until as well as supply and installation of the new split system. The total team at Alfa Air were all professional and Friendly, including Lana who I spoken with when ordering and coordinating the installation with my tenant.
The installation team were fantastic, my tenant found them to be professional and friendly and happy to answer his questions, he cannot get over how quiet and efficient the new Mitsubishi split system is and how quickly they could replace and install the new system, especially seeing that we currently in summer as I write this post.
I would highly recommend Alfa Air if you need a new air conditioner or have other air conditioning issues with your current air conditioning system.

From initial consultation to job complete we have nothing but praise for Jordan, Cameron and their team. Installation of our ducted system was ten days from order. Jordan and his team arrived on time and quickly and efficiently began installing. Furniture was moved, drop sheets put down, holes cut in the plaster ceiling. After only a few hours the team left, the only evidence they were here was the ceiling outlets. All furniture moved was replaced and every piece of dusted cleaned up.

These guys came out to give us a quote on installing a ducted air conditioning system into an established home. They were great with the quoting process and explaining how it would all be installed. They were very accommodating to any changes and requests.

Brian turned up quickly to quote, and made good suggestions about the placement of the indoor units. Installation occurred as scheduled, and the installation team were all polite and friendly. Our property was left clean after installation, and they took care to make sure the units were cleaned, and even wanted to vacuum up a small amount of dust left in a cupboard after the install. All the installation work is very neat. Cameron took the time to set up and explain each of the units (we had 4 installed).

The guys did a fantastic job during the ducted system service. They resolved a faulty installation issue that has plagued us for years, with water running out of the fan coil unit and into our ceiling. We had a fault with our 15 yr old split system air conditioner, so I contacted Alfa Air via their website. They responded quickly, and organised for a technician to have a look at our system. The technician who arrived was very professional and knew what he was talking about, and quickly diagnosed the issue as a failed compressor.

For a while we had been dissatisfied with the location of our old system, so I asked about the possibility of upgrading our system to a ducted system.

Their quote for a new system was quite reasonable, and we organized for Alfa Air to come that week. Their team arrived on-time and were very professional in the removal of our old faulty system and with the installation of the new ducted system.

EDIT 17/06/2020: spoke with Jordan, great communication, very prompt rectification of the issue. I had my Peak Meter installed within a day. Lodged an application for the rebate so should be all fine.

We had our whole ducted system replaced with Alfa air. From quote to installation the Alfa air team were professional throughout. Brian took the time to explain the various systems during the quoting process which made it easy to choose a model. James and the team arrived the morning of the instal and got stuck into it, they were in and out in a couple of hours. It was really nice to hear the team communicating and looking out for each other like “make sure you have plenty of water”, “don’t be in the roof for too long” etc they were really safety conscientious. Brian was nearby and within 15 minutes he was here to see what was needed – a replacement for a ducted air conditioner we had installed almost 20 years ago, which was no longer in operation. We had the quote by the next morning for a 7 zone system with advanced controls, with wifi integration at a very competitive price.
Just over 2 weeks later, the system is fully installed, and exceeds our expectations. Nothing too much trouble, even with rainy weather causing a couple of days delay with starting, the team worked flat out and non-stop to complete installation in the day, despite a late start due to rain. I don’t normally give reviews for services I receive, but these guys were exceptional. Based on our experience, I will happily recommend them to others.
